EU project to Gjøvik and the Colorlab

EU7FP

The Norwegian Color Research Laboratory (Colorlab) at Gjøvik University College has been chosen to coordinate an EU project with a budget of 17 million NOK! Only two other university colleges in Norway have coordination responsibilities in this category of EU projects.

The project, «Colour Printing 7.0: Next Generation Multi-Channel Printing», has gone through an application process in the EU and competed with 919 other applications.

-This is great for us at the Colorlab. An EU project means that we can carry out more research into color science and printing technology. The main goal of this project is to train a new generation of researchers within the field of printing technology. These researchers may be the driving forces of European innovation and value creation in this exposed business, Professor Jon Yngve Hardeberg at the Colorlab says.

-This is excellent work of the Colorlab and Gjøvik University College! It is a great achievement to secure funding through an EU project, especially in such a competitive program as Marie Curie Initial Training Networks, Per Magnus Kommandantvold, Senior Adviser at the The Research Council of Norway states.
