Project title:  Master Thesis "Spatio-Temporal color correction of strongly degraded films" and Internship "Enhancing the output of spatial color algorithms".

Current employer:  Drylab R&D, Oslo, Norway. 

What was the best about the Colorlab:  First of all, the Colorlab is in Norway, which is a cold country with warmhearted people. I spent a very pleasant and exciting time with the members of colorlab. The people of colorlab are indeed expert in what they do and the equipments are up-to date. From my point of view, it is one of the best color imaging lab in the world with a group of highly skilled people with endless thirst of knowledge.

How did you get in contact with the Colorlab:  I did my summer internship as part of my Erasmus Mundus Master Program, CIMET in Colorlab in May, 2009. After that, being a master student of GUC, I continued to maintain close contact with colorlab and I pursued my master thesis at GUC and under colorlab.

What was the best about the Colorlab:  Very friendly working environment full of inspiration and research facilities.

How did you get in contact with the Colorlab?  Jon Yngve Hardeberg contact my department regarding possibilities to study a Media Technology courses at GUC. My University and Gjøvik signed an Erasmus agreement, so I could get to GUC with some support. According to information on GUC and Colorlab website, I chose most of the courses taught by colorlab members, and after few months I started to work on my master thesis in Colorlab.

What was the best about the Colorlab:  Very friendly and skilled working environment.

How did you get in contact with the Colorlab? Prof. Marco Carli told me about the opportunity to study at GUC. My University and Gjøvik signed an "thesis" agreement, so I could get to GUC with some support. According to information on GUC and Colorlab website, I got in touch with some colorlab members, and after few months I started to work on my master thesis in Colorlab.

How did you get in contact with the Colorlab? GUC/colorlab was a partner of the University of Bourgogne, and the PhD position was shared between these partners.

What was the best about the Colorlab:  Well equipped laboratory with very friendly atmosphere

How did you get in contact with the Colorlab? I received an offer for this master thesis through my school (Pagora, Grenoble). The topic interested me as well as the location because I have friends in Lillehammer.

What was the best about the Colorlab:  Colorlab has well equipped laboratories and a very cordial work environment. I found the weekly meetings with Colorlab members extremely useful.

How did you get in contact with the Colorlab?  I found the research topics at Colorlab very interesting. So, I contacted Jon Yngve Hardeberg for regarding the master thesis.
