New Ways to use Print Technology

CREATE-Bristol

Three members (Peter Nussbaum, Aditya Sole and Marius Pedersen) of the colorlab attended the CREATE training course on "New Ways to use Print Technology" in Bristol, UK. The specialist training course, was hosted by the Centre for Fine Print Research, University of the West of England, Bristol, was delivered through a combination of lectures delivered by industry experts (including Xerox and Apple) and studio based workshops (including traditional, commercial and wide format printing).

Every participant had to present a poster regarding their own research interests.

Peter Nussbaum presented a poster regarding his research interest in the field of colour measurements and the consequences of using a number of different colour measurement instruments in a colour managed printing workflow. Take a look at Peter Nussbaum's poster

Marius Pedersen presented a poster about his PhD project on image quality metrics for color prints. Take a look at Marius Pedersen's poster.

Aditya's poster presentation was about his current research project "Consequences of using a number of measuring instruments in a color managed printing workflow". In this project he along with Peter Nussbuam will study different color measuring instruments in terms of accuracy, repeatability and study the effect of using more than one measuring instrument in a color managed printing workflow.
