Gjøvik Color Imaging Symposium 2011

We are very happy to announce that Gjøvik Color Imaging Symposium 2011 will take place in Gjøvik, Norway, on 7‐9 September 2011. This wiill be the sixth time that the Norwegian Color Research Laboratory at Gjøvik University College organizes such an event, this year we also celebrate the ten year anniversary of the Colorlab.  This year the symposium will be in connection with the 2nd International Conference on Pervasive Computing, Signal Processing and Applications (PCSPA 2011), where a joint special session on the interdisciplinary topic of color imaging will be held.

The first and last day of the symposium contains a rich program of tutorials, keynotes, invited, and contributed talks on a wide variety of color imaging research topics such as image quality, multispectral imaging, color and 3D, and color image processing, given by a mixture of well known international experts and students in the field.

Thursday 8 september is the main celebration day, where in addition to birthday cake, dinner, balloons and congratulations, the technical program is more applied in nature, focusing especially on the printing industry.

The symposium is free, thanks to generous support from the Faculty of Computer Science and Media Technology as well as the Research Council of Norway, but please register before September 2.

We hope to see you very soon in Gjøvik!
